Mercedes-Benz has launched the G63 AMG iteration of G-Class in India at Rs 2.19 crores (ex-showroom pan India). This model was first revealed in January, 2018. After the long gap, Mercedes-Benz G-Class has received the major updates.

The G-Class is the longest serving passenger vehicle model series from Mercedes-Benz. It was first launched in 1979. Mercedes has retained the boxy exterior, retro look and iconic element of the G63. This car is more suitable for who loves luxury and off-road same time. The 2018 Mercedes-Benz G-Class model gets the Panamerica grille, alloy wheels, LED headlamps and bumpers. 

Mechanically, this model gets the 4.0-litre, bi-turbo V8 engine. This engine delivers a maximum power of 576 bhp and peak torque of 850Nm. The power is transfered to all wheels via 9-speed 9G-Tronic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. It crosses the 0-100 kmph speed with in 4.5 seconds and reach the top speed of 220 Kmph.
