Suzuki Burgman Street Scooter Launched In India At Rs 71,064

Suzuki has launched its first-ever maxi-styled scooter, the Burgman Street in India at a price of Rs 71,064 (ex-showroom Chennai). This model was first unveiled in the Auto Expo 2018 in Greater Noida. This model is developed in maxi-scooter design styling. This model give different kind of look compared to conventional scoote models. When launched, it will go up against the Honda Grazia, the TVS NTORQ and the Aprilia SR 125.

The Burgman Street have the large windscreen, exposed handlebars, LED headlamp, fully digital instrument console and LED tail lights. Mechanically, this model gets the 124cc, air-cooled engine which was already available in Suzuki Access. It delivers maximum 8.7PS of power at 7,000rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. And this power is transfered to wheels via CVT gearbox. And braking duties are carried by disc brake in front and a drum unit at the rear with combi-brake system. This model also get a 12V charging socket and 21.5-litres of underseat storage.
