Yamaha India has introduced the YZF-R15 Version 3.0 with dual-channel ABS at Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The ABS model commands a premium of Rs 12,000 over the normal one. Yamaha also launched the bike with new Darknight colour option. The new colour option is Rs 2,000 more expensive than other color options. The Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 is now available with THUNDER GREY, RACING BLUE and DARKNIGHT color options.
Mechanically, this model powered with new 150cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor gets variable valve actuation (VVA). It delivers the 19.3PS of power at 10,000rpm and 14.7Nm of torque and is paired to a 6-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch.. And braking duties are carried by 282mm disc brake at front and 220mm disc brake at rear along with dual-channel ABS. The R15 v3.0 will compete against the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 and KTM RC 200.
