Hero MotoCorp Revealed The Xtreme 200R

After the long waiting, Hero MotoCorp has introduced the Xtreme 200R yesterday. This model was first showased in  2016 Auto Expo held in Delhi.  This model was developed based on the current Xtreme model with 200cc engine and some feature updates. It gets fuel tank extensions and a larger headlamp that feature LED DRLs. The tank features large ‘Xtreme’ graphics. 

Mechanically, this model available with 199.6cc air-cooled and carburetted single-cylinder engine. This motor delivers 18.4PS of power at 8000rpm and 17.1Nm of torque at 6500rpm. The bike claims a 0-60kmph time of 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 112kmph. Fuel consumption is a claimed 39.9kmpl. The bike weighs 146kg kerb and fuel tank capacity is 12.4 litres. It will be available in 5 dual tone colours.

Braking duties are arried by disc brake in both front and rear.  The 276mm front disc brake gets single-channel ABS as an option. Hero will launch the Xtreme 200R at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo. And it will expect to priced around Rs 1 lakh. This model wil positioned against  KTM 200 Duke, Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. Now, this model will be Hero's flagship motorcycle, after it launched.
