Bobber-Styled Jawa Perak Launched In India At Rs 1.94 Lakhs

Jawa has launched the bobber-styled Perak in India at price of Rs 1,94,500 (ex showroom-Delhi) to celebrate its first anniversary in India. The motorcycle is more expensive than the standard Jawa by Rs 30,500. Jawa says the bookings will open from January 2020 and deliveries will commence from April 2, 2020 onwards. To prevent the delivery issues, the bikemaker says it will accept bookings every three months based on the production.

The Perak is powered by 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This motor delivers the power of 30bhp and 31Nm of peak torque. The factory custom bobber, the Perak gets swingarm, monoshock and disk brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. While most of its cycle parts have been shared with the standard Jawa, the Perak sports a monoshock at the rear which is preload-adjustable. At the front, it uses telescopic forks.

The Jawa Perak is available only in one colour option- matte black shade with gold highlights. It is the third Jawa motorcycle in the country and the most affordable bobber.
