Bengalure Based electric two-wheeler startup Ather Energy has launched the India's first smart electric scooter, Ather 340 and 450 with onroad price of Rs 1,09,750 and Rs 1,24,750 respectively.  Sales will be limited to Bengaluru initially, expanding to other parts of the country end of this year. 

The Ather 340 comes equipped a 7-inch touchscreen instrument console which has lot of features like parking assist, smartphone connectivity, navigation assist, push navigation, and vehicle charging point tracker. It also has CBS braking syste, LED lighting, underseat storage light and etc,. The Ather S340 is powered by a lithium-ion battery which can able to run up to 50,000km. And, it takes about 50 minutes to charge up the scooter to 80 per cent.

The Ather 340 has claimed top speed of 70kmph and sprint 0-40 kmph with in 5.1 seconds. And, it have range of 60km. And other hand, the Ather 450 has claimed top speed of 80kmph and sprint 0-40 kmph with in 3.9 seconds. And, it have range of 75km. Ather has started accepting bookings throuh website, and deliveries will commence in August.
