Piaggio going to launch the Aprilia SR150 Scooter in India at the price of Rs. 65,000. This price details are very shocking because Aprilia Scooters are priced lower than Vespa scooters. Bookings for the Aprilia SR 150 will commence shortly and it will be launched in August 2016. This model was unveiled at the Auto Expo in February this year.

This scooter is powered by single cylinder 150cc, 4-stroke engine, the same unit used in Vespa models. The motor delivers 12PS of power and 11.5Nm of peak torque. Aprilia SR 150 give sporty look and also have disc brake, alloy wheel, digital instrument cluster, automatic gear box and etc,.

This model will be available through the Piaggio Group’s distributor network across the country. Piaggio Group currently sells the Vespa brand scooters, Aprilia brand super bikes and Moto Guzzi brand cruiser bikes in India through Motoplex Premium Retail Concept Stores.
