Triumph has launched the Street Triple 765 in India at an introductory price of Rs 8.5 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Since then, Triumph has sold over 50,000 Street Triples globally, crowning it as one of the best selling middleweight naked motorcycle. The 2017 Triumph Street Triple S is likely to reach showrooms by the second week of June while deliveries are expected to commence by the end of June. The booking amount varies from Rs 1-2 lakh depending on the dealership.
The new Street Triple retains the same design language as the older model but comes with a host of improvements in terms of powertrain, equipment and dynamics. This bike gets new in-line, 3-cylinder 765cc engine which is produce 113PS of power at 11250rpm and 73Nm of torque at 9100rpm.
Braking duties are taken care of by twin 310mm discs inf ront and 220mm disc in rear. The seat height of the new Street Triple is up by 10mm over the previous version. The new bike is also 2kg lighter.
