Triumph launched the Speed Twin bike at Delhi showroom price of Rs 9.46 lakh in India. This bike was designed in modern classic philosophy. Modern classic is the combination of classic or vintage design with latest technology. Triumph already have some bikes in Modern classic design including Street Twin, Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120, Thruxton. These models are the best choice for those who want classic or vintage design.

The Triumph Speed Twin is built in the same chassis and engine that is used on the Thruxton R. This model available with 1200 cc, 8 valve, parallel twin engine. This engine delivers a massive peak torque of 112 Nm and power of 97bhp and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Braking duties are carried  by dual 305mm discs at the front with Brembo four-piston calipers and a 220mm disc at the rear. This model also comes with ABS as standard.

The Speed Twin have lot of new technology like ABS,  ride-by-wire system, Traction control,  riding modes – sport, road and rain, USB socket and etc,.
