TVS has launched the new Apache RTR 160 Race Edition with starting price of Rs 79,715 (ex-showroom Delhi).The base variant is priced at Rs 79,715, whereas the top-end variant (Dual Disc brake) priced at Rs 82,044 (ex-showroom Delhi). This model gets only limeted to the cosmetic updates otherwise remains unchanged. 

This new variant gets the white and red paint scheme, different graphics, a 3D logo and thin race edition decal running on the fuel tank.. Rest, everything is the same. Mechanically, this model remains the same 1-cylinder and 159.7 cc capacity engine. This petrol engine delivers the power of  15.2 bhp (8000 rpm)and torque of 13.1 Nm (5500rpm). As per ARAI certification, this model gives mileage of 60 Kmpl.  And this engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The New Apache RTR 160 Race Edition will compete against the rival like Yamaha FZ, Suzuki Gixxer, the Honda CB Hornet and etc,.
