Piaggio has launched the Vespa Red 125, premium scooter with price of Rs 87,000 (ex-Maharashtra). The Vespa RED is the product for the partnership between the Piaggio and RED, a charitable organisation. Most of global organisations have launchd the red version of products for RED. An example of this is the iPhone 7 RED. Obviously, the RED branded products are premium over similarly ones. For every products sold the organisations donate some amout to the Global Fund. 

Till now, the Vespa 946 RED is the only automobile to be a recipient of the RED branding. This red edition have some cosmetic updates and additional features and in  premium glossy red color scheme with chrome accents. This model have red seat, red and chrome alloys and all in red scheme. Mechanically, this model remains the same 1-cylinder and 125cc capacity engine. This engine delivers the power of 10.06 bhp (7000 rpm) and torque of 10.6 Nm (6000rpm). As per ARAI certification, this model gives mileage of 47 Kmpl.
