Mahindra has launched the low cost version of Mojo, called Mojo UT 300 in India with the price of Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Mahindra Mojo UT 300 is based on the original Mojo introduced in 2015, but gets stripped off some features to make it more affordable model. The UT stsnds for 'Universal Tourer'. Mahindra is offering the introductory bonus of Rs 10000, which is valid till March 2018.
The new Mojo UT 300 remains identical to existing Mojo XT 300, But this model miss out some features such as eye-brow themed LED DRLs, golden coloured twin-bars and twin exhausts. This bike is available in two colours- Volcono Red and Ocean Blue. The UT 300 also gets MRF tyres, instead of the Pirellis available on the XT 300.
Mechanically, this model remains the same 295 cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve, single-cylinder engine. But, in diiferent power tune and gets a carburettor fuel system instead of fuel injection. This engine delivers 23 bhp of power and 25.2 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Braking duties are carried by 320 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear.
