Kawasaki has launched the New Z1000, Z1000 R And Z250 iN India. Updates to the 2017 Z1000 include a Euro IV compliant motor without any drop in power or torque. It also gets a revised suspension setup with a more plush setup.
The new Kawasaki Z1000 launched with price of Rs 14.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Z1000 gets a 1043cc, in-line 4 cylinder engine nestled between the twin-tube aluminium frame develops 142PS @ 11000rpm and a peak torque of 111Nm @ 7300rpm. The new motorcycle takes 3.4 seconds for a 0-100 kmph dash. It has a top speed of 258 kmph. The Kawasaki Z1000 is available in choice of two colours, namely black and green.
The new Kawasaki Z1000R launched with price of Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Z1000R is a sportier version of the Z1000, and comes with the same engine along with better features. Both Kawasaki Z1000 and Z1000R are equipped with dual 310 mm disc brake at the front and a single 250 mm disc at the rear, while the ABS (Antilock braking System) has been offered as a standard fitment. In addition to this, the Kawasaki Z1000R comes with a 41 mm USD (Up Side Down) fork and Ohlins rear shock, and Brembo M50 monoblock brake calipers at the front.
The new Kawasaki Z250 launched with price of Rs 3.09 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This model have 250cc parallel twin engine. This motor delivers maximum power of 32PS @ 11000rpm and a peak torque of 21Nm @ 10000rpm. The Z250 is the most affordable motorcycle in Z series. Braking duties at the front and rear are handled by a 290mm petal disc and a 220mm petal disc with a two-piston caliper at the rear.
