Hero has revealed the all-new Xtreme 160R. The new motorcycle replaces the discontinued 150cc Xtreme Sports. It will be available in two variants: drum and disc. And, this model will expect to launched in coming months.
The Hero Xtreme 160R gets all-new design style that draws inspiration from both the Xtreme Sports and the larger Xtreme 200R. This model also gets the digital instrument console, engine side stand cutoff switch, hazard lamps and all-LED front and rear lamps. The Xtreme 160R comes in three colours: white, red and blue.

Mechanically, this model gets the BS6-compliant 160cc air-cooled and fuel-injected engine. It delivers the power of 15Bhp at 8500rpm and torque of 14Nm at 6500rpm. Hero claims the Xtreme 160R will accelerate from 0-60kmph in 4.7 seconds, and it will be quickest motorcycle in the 160cc segment. Braking duties are carried by disc brakes at both ends with a single-channel ABS as standard. The Hero Xtreme 160R will compete against the rivales like the Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Honda CB Hornet 160R, Suzuki Gixxer and Yamaha FZ-FI V3.0.
