Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 And Svartpilen 250 To Be Launched In February In India

Husqvarna has unveiled the Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250 in India at the 2019 India Bike Week event held in Goa. And, these models expect to be launched in India around February or March. Bajaj is the company, going to sold both KTM and Husqvarna brand in India via existing KTM dealerships. And, for the info, Husqvarna is a brand owned by KTM. 

The Vitpilen 250 is a cafe racer while the Svartpilen 250 is a scrambler. Husqvarna motorcycles use KTM powertrain, frame and suspension components. However, both bikes get more premium looking compared to KTM. Husqvarna  models gets the LED headlamps, tail lamps, circular full digital instrument console and more,. 

Mechanically, these models powered by the KTM-sourced 248.8cc liquid cooled single cylinder motor. This engine delivers 31PS of power and 24Nm of torque and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.  The braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard. Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 And Svartpilen 250 likely to be priced around Rs 2.2-2.5 lakhs more premium than KTM Duke 250.
