Yamaha has finally launched the  YZF-R15 v3.0 in India with price of Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) at 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. This model has been on sale in overseas markets for a while now. But, Indian spec model have couple of difference compared to overseas model to keep its price competitive.

The YZF-R15 v3.0 is designed by the inspiration R6 and the legendary R1. This model gets the entireley new LED head lamp unit, new  faux air intake, new fuel tank and new body fairing design. The bike also features a fully digital instrument console. The Indian spec model not having the ABS and upside down front forks which was available in  overseas model. 

Mechanically, this model have new 150cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor gets variable valve actuation (VVA). It delivers the 19.3PS of power at 10,000rpm and 14.7Nm of torque. This is an increase of 16.3 per cent in power and 4.7 per cent better mileage compared to previous model. And braking duties are carried by disc brake on both front and rear. The R15 v3.0 will compete against the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 and KTM RC 200.
