Mahindra has launched tha most awaited all-new MPV,  the Marazzo in India with starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom India). The Marazzo is based on an all-new platform. The Marazzo is the first car to be developed at Mahindra’s North American Technical Centre with some inputs from Pininfarina. And this model developed from the inpiration of Shark. And Mahindra also shared, Marazzo means “shark” in the Basque language. Mahindra already developed the XUV500 inspired by Cheetah and TUV300 inspired by Tank.

Mahindra Marazzo M2 – Rs 9.99 lakhs
Mahindra Marazzo M4 – Rs 10.95 lakhs
Mahindra Marazzo M6 – Rs 12.40 lakhs
Mahindra Marazzo M8 – Rs 13.90 lakhs

The Mahindra Marazzo developed based on body-on-frame construction as like other Mahindra models. And, this new MPV gets the new design language, new engine, new shark inspired grill and new shark inspired tail lamps. This model also had lot of features like Automatic climate control, touchscreen display, steering mounted audio controls, power folding mirror and etc,. The disc brakes, ABS with EBD and dual front airbags are standard in all variants. This model will available with seven and eight seat configuration. And this model available in six color options - Mariner maroon, Poseidon purple, Iceberg white, Shimmering silver, Oceanic black and Aqua marine.

Mechanically, this model powered by all new 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel four cylinder engine. This engine developes 121bhp of power and 300Nm of torque and it transfered to front wheels via six-speed manual transmission. The diesel engine returns an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 17.6kmpl.  This model will compete against the rivals like Toyota Innova Crysta, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Renault Lodgy, Honda BR-V and Tata Hexa.
