Tata Rolls Out 50,000th Nexon In Ranjangaon Facility

The Tata has produced 50,000 units of sub-compact SUV, Nexon within a year of its launch. The 50,000th Nexon was rolled out of Tata’s Ranjangaon facility recently. It was officially revealed by Tata. Few days back, Tata Nexon was scored a four-star safety rating in the Global NCAP. So, it will help to compact SUV for better and constant growth in future.

This model is available with 1.2 liter 3 cylinder Revotron petrol and 1.5 liter 4 cylinder Revotorq diesel engines. The 1198cc Revotron petrol engine delivers 110 PS @ 5,000rpm of power and 170Nm @ 2,000-4,000rpm of torque. And the other hand the 1496cc Revotorq diesel engine delivers 110PS @ 3,750rpm of power and 260Nm @ 1,500-2,750rpm of torque. Both the engines will be mated to a brand new 6-speed manual and AMT gearbox. And this diesel engine have Eco, City, and Sport driving modes.

This model gets lot of features such as projector headlamps and LED DRLs that we expect to be limited to the top trims, along with automatic climate control, reverse camera, 6.5-inch Harman-powered touch screen infotainment and etc,. And this model have standard safety features such as dual-front airbags and ABS with EBD. The Nexon have 209mm off the ground, which is not only the highest in its segment, but also higher than its other cars.
