Volkswagen’s second-generation Tiguan has scored five stars in Euro NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) crash test. The Tiguan scored ninety six per cent in adult protection, eighty four per cent in child protection. To know the detailed result report click here.

This model was introduced in 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. In this second generation model, lot of changes have been made on the exterior. But, not much changes at interior. The numerous facilities available in this model such as 8-inch touch screen Audio System,Panoramic Sun roof, Automatic Climate Control and etc,. 

There is no information about, with which engine it will be released in india. However, the 1.4-liter petrol and 1.6 liter diesel engine is expected to be released. The model is fitted with a 7-speed automatic transmission system. But, tested model is fitted with 2.0 liter engine.

This model expected to be launched by the end of this year at price range from Rs 30 to 40 lakh .
