Volkswagen Passat To Launch Again In India On October 10
Volkswagen going to launch the tenth generation Passat again in India on October 10. Initially, this model will be offered only with diesel engine option. The Volkswagen Passat will be loaded with all kind of luxury features as like other VW models.
Mechanicalli, this model initially comes with 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine. The engine delivers out 177PS of max power and 350Nm of peak torque. And its coupled to a 6-speed DSG (dual-clutch automatic transmission). Some markets have plug-in hybrid version of Passat too. But, This plug-in hybrid model is difficult to come In India.
Volkswagen Passat compete with its own sibling, the Skoda Superb, along with the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord. The VW Passat is most likely to be priced in the range of Rs 25-30 lakh.
