American carmaker Chevrolet will launch the updated Beat hatchback in India on July 2017. Chevrolet is expected to add the word Intelli in its hatchbacks name. Chevrolet already announced that they going to launch Beat Activ and Essentia in the year 2017 and Chevrolet plans to update all of the cars in its range, in the next two years.

Chevrolet made a few cosmetic changes to the exterior appearance. In terms of exterior design, the front section gets a new grille setup with the wider headlamps.  The interior design is expected with a new fresh look. The facelifted model will continue to be offered in same 1.2-liter petrol engine and 1.0-liter diesel engine. 

This petrol engines have capacity of 1199cc and diesel engines have capacity of 936cc. This petrol engine delivers the power of 77.9bhp (6200 rpm) and torque of 106.5Nm (4400rpm). This diesel engine delivers the power of 57.1bhp (4000 rpm) and torque of 142.5Nm (1750rpm).
