Toyota Motors has launched the festive season special edition model of the Etios Cross hatch called as 'X-Edition'. The petrol version of the Etios Cross X-Edition is based on the base ‘G’ trim, while the diesel version is based on the ‘VD’ trim of the normal Etios Cross. This model have some cosmetic updates and some additional features. The Etios Cross X-Edition, petrol version priced Rs 6.78 lakh, while the diesel version priced Rs 8.22 lakh (Both ex-showroom Kolkata). 

 The new Etios Cross X-Edition gets the body-coloured finish claddings, Black grille and fog lamp housing, New black and silver dual-tone upholstery fabric, 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, New dashboard with ‘Carbon Fibre’ finish and rear parking camera. And this model also available in new a Quartz Brown colour options. 

Mechanically, this model remains the same 1.2 liter petrol and 1.4 liter engine options. The  petrol engine delivers the power of 80 bhp (5600 rpm) and torque of 104Nm (3100rpm) and diesel engine delivers the power of 68 bhp (3800 rpm) and torque of 170Nm (1800-2400rpm). Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
