Tata Unveils Its First Sports Coupe The Tamo Racemo

Tata motors unveiled its first sports coupe Racemo under the new performance brand Tamo. The two-seater sports coupe in its concept trim looks quite radical with typical rakish sportscar windscreen, lots of muscular bulges and plenty of floating panels all around. Tata celebrating 20th year of participation at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

This model will be available in two versions, namely, Racemo and Racemo+. The first one is a road-legal one, while the second one is a track-oriented version. The Racemo is based on a new MOFlex platform which ine Tatas new platform. It packs scissor doors and the exhaust tip is placed higher up, just like the Mclaren P1.  Racemo concept took just 24 months to turn from sketch into reality. 

It is powered by a turbocharged Revotron engine, which puts out 190PS of max power at 6500rpm and 210Nm of peak torque at 2500rpm. It also gets a 6-speed AMT transmission with paddle shifters. Tamo claims a nought to 100kmph sprint in under 6 seconds. We no need to tell about design, just look the images after you know.

We expect near to production version of the Racemo to be shown at the 2018 Auto Expo in India.
