Tata Motors has launched the AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) version of Tiago at Delhi ex-showroom price of Rs 5.39 lakh. And, this is Rs 40k more than current manual model. The automatic option will be available only on the top-spec XZA variant of the petrol hatch.

The Tiago AMT comes with two drive modes – Sports and City. While the Sports mode ups the performance of the Tiago, the City one helps you sneak through the city traffic with ease. The looks remain same as the stock Tiago.

This model will be available in 1.2 liter petrol engine and 1.0 liter diesel engine. Significantly this new 1.0 liter Revotorq diesel engine was fully developed by Tata. The 1.2 liter Revotron petrol engine delivers 85 Bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. And the other hand the 1.0 liter Revotorq diesel engine delivers 70 Bhp of power and 140 Nm of torque. But, AMT available only in 1.2 liter Revotron petrol engine. 

This model will be compete against models like Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Hyundai Grand i10 and Maruti Suzuki Ignis.
