Tata Motors has launched the much awaited model, Tata Hexa at Rs.11.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Bookings for the Hexa began in November last year. And this is the replacement of Tata Aria.

XT 4x2 MT -Rs 16.20 lakh

XT 4x4 MT -Rs 17.49 lakh

This model is designed on the Tata's new impact design philosophy. The front end is designed to be the most beautiful and rugged. But side profile give the appearance like Tata Aria. But in truth, Tata Motors has overhauled the original recipe of the Aria from every conceivable angle to transform it into new one.

The Tata Hexa is powered by a 2.2-litre engine that is available in two states of tune. The Varicor 320 engine generates 148bhp of power and 320Nm of torque, however this is offered only in the base XE variant. As for the rest of the variants, they come powered by a larger Varicor 400 engine that generates 153bhp of power and 400Nm of torque.  It is available in six-speed manual and six-speed automatic configuration options. There is also an all-wheel drive system that offers four driving modes - Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road.

The Hexa have a lot of feature includes a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment interface, a 10-speaker sound system by JBL, 6 airbags, faux leather upholstery, automatic climate control and etc,. This model will give tough competision to Mahindra XUV500 and Toyota Innova Crysta.
