Skoda India has launched the Rapid Monte Carlo Edition in India at starting price of Rs 11.16lakh (ex-showroom India). This model have only cosmetic changes and otherwise there is no change compared to normal variant. This model available with four variants. Skoda debuted the Rapid Monte Carlo edition back in 2017.  And, its premium of around Rs 25,000 over the Rapid.

Variant wise price details (ex-showroom):

• Monte Carlo Petrol MT - Rs 11.16 lakh
• Monte Carlo Petrol AT - Rs 12.36 lakh
• Monte Carlo Diesel MT - Rs 13 lakh
• Monte Carlo Diesel AT - Rs 14.25 lakh

This model will come with a host of aesthetic changes both inside and out along with additional features. The Monte Carlo is famous in Europe and is offered with the Euro-spec Rapid and the current-gen Fabia. Skoda will launch the Monte Carlo edition for the first time in India and based on the top-end trim.

Mechanically, there is no changes and its available with same 1.6 - liter petrol engine and 1.5- liter diesel engine options. This petrol engine delivers the power of 105 bhp (5250 rpm)and torque of 153Nm (3800rpm). And this diesel engine delivers the power of 105 bhp (4400 rpm) and torque of 250Nm (1500-2500rpm).
