Renault India has teased the Kwid AMT. The teaser image shows the rotary gear selector. We expected that, AMT will be available with both 0.8 and 1.0 liter engine options. The Gear liver is not going to be provided in AMT model as like other automatic models. Only small dial is given in dashboard which have three options like Drive, neutral and reverse.

Now, this model available in 0.8 liter and 1.0 liter engine options. The 0.8 liter engine delivers the power of 54 bhp (5678 rpm) and torque of 72Nm (4386rpm). And the 1.0 liter engine delivers the power of 67 Bhp and torque of 91 Nm. 

The AMT model costing around Rs 50,000 more than the equivalent manual model. And this model give tough competision to Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 AMT.
