Nissan is set to launch the Kicks SUV in India on 22 January 2019. The pre-booking of this model already opened in all showrooms and official website.  Nissan was first revealed the Kicks cross over model in 2016. And the model was officially introduced at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Rio.

The Kicks is developed based on the B0 platform which was already used Renault-Nissan alliance SUVs in India such as the Captur, Duster and the Terrano. Mechanically, this model available with same 1.5 liter petrol and diesel engine which was available in Duster and Captur. The 1.5 liter petrol engine develops 104bhp of power and 142Nm of torque. And the 1.5 liter diesel engine develops 108bhp of power and 240Nm of torque. Currently, both the engine options are limited to manual transmission and does not offer AWD and AT option initially.

The interior is perfectly designed with brown and black colour combination. The Kicks is equipped with dual front airbags, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, rear AC vents, 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD and etc,. This model will compete against Hyundai Creta, Renault Captur, Maruti S-cross and likes.
