Indian automobile manufacturers developing a lot of new vehicles in recent days. We will see the some upcoming SUV models in India in next couple of months. 

Mahindra S201:

We all know, Mahindra will going to launch the Ssangyong Tivoli in India with Mahindra brand. Mahindra was tested this model with code name of S201. Now, the production ready model has spotted while testing. This new sub-4m compact SUV will expect to launched in India end of this year or early next year.

This new sub-4m compact SUV will be a third sub-4 metre product after the TUV300 and Nuvosport. This model have lot of changes compared to Ssangyong Tivoli. And, it will expect to get LED DRL, projector head lamps, ABS with EBD and etc,. 

Mechanically, the S201 is most likely to get both petrol and diesel engines. We expect the same 1.5-litre turbo engine from the Marazzo which produces 121bhp/300Nm as diesel engine and 1.2-litre or 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine. This model will give tough competetion to the sub-4m SUV's likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Honda WR-V and Tata Nexon.

Mahindra Alturas G4:

Mahindra was debuts the rebadged version of Rexton in 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. And, now Mahindra announced that it would launch its luxury SUV, codenamed Y400, on November 19, 2018. Technically, it is the second-gen SsangYong Rexton, but its in Mahindra brand. There is no difference between Ssangyong Rexton and this model, Its just rebranded to Mahindra. Once, its launched in India Rexton will be the flagship model from Mahindra. The name of this model expect as Alturas G4. 

Rexton is the body-on-frame product like most of the other SUVs from Mahindra. Compared to previous generation model, the new model have an improved build quality and approximately 50kgs lighter than previous model. And this model offers better fuel economy and improved aerodynamic design. This model powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine. It delivers the power of 178 Bhp and torque of 420Nm. The SUV also get a all-wheel-drive system. Transmission duties are expected to be covered by a six-speed automatic or a six-speed manual unit.

The Rebadged Mahindra Rexton will compete against the premium SUVs like Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner. 

Tata HARRIER:

Tata Motors has officially revealed the all new Harrier SUV through images and the first ever Tata Harrier SUV has rolled out of the company's newly set up production line at its plant near Pune. Few days back, Tata was start accept bookings of its much awaited SUV, HARRIER. Customers can book the HARRIER with an amount of INR 30,000 on https://harrier.tatamotors.com or visit the nearest Tata Motors authorized dealership. Tata was introduced the all-new H5X Concept first time in 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. This SUV was one of the most expected model from Tata, which is expected to be launched around early 2019.

The new H5X concept is developed in Tata's new OMEGA (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced) architecture, which is a derivative of the D8 platform that underpins the Land Rover Discovery Sport. The new H5X is based on tata's updated impact 2.0 design language. The grill looks normal as like other Tata model, But it was placed nicely. Totaly, this new concept gives full packed and rugged SUV look.

This models is Powered by the 2.0L KRYOTEC cutting- edge diesel engine. Tata has not revealed the interior and official details of the Harrier. But, the automaker has confirmed that the production-spec model will be a five-seater and seven-seater. 

2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga:

Maruti Suzuki was officially unveiled the new-gen Ertiga MPV at the 2018 Indonesia Motor Show held in Jakarta. The Maruti Suzuki expect to launch the new-generation Ertiga around festive season and this MPV will be retailed through Maruti’s Nexa dealership channels. This will be the fifth car to be sold through the Nexa network after the Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz and the S-Cross. 

The new-gen model developed in Heartect platform, which it shares with the Dzire, Ignis, Baleno and Swift. This model have lot of changes in design on both interior and exterior, features and etc,. And the New-gen model is bigger in size compare to existing model. On the exterior, this model gets the new front grill, head lamps, new alloy wheels, new side lines, new rear lights, new rear design layout, front and rear bumper and etc,. And the interior is entirely new with new design and new features. This model now gets flat bottom steering wheels. The dashboard also gets wood inserts and a new 6.8-inch infotainment system. The new Ertiga measures 4,395x1735x1690mm in dimensions and the wheelbase remains the same at 2,740mm.

In India, this model remais the same 1.4-liter petrol and 1.3 liter diesel engine under the hood. This petrol engine delivers the power of 95 bhp (6000 rpm) and torque of 130Nm (4000 rpm). And the diesel engine delivers the power of 90 bhp (4000 rpm) and torque of 200Nm (1750 rpm). 

Nissan Kicks:

Nissan has officially revealed the Indian-spec version Kicks SUV in India. Nissan was first revealed the Kicks cross over model in 2016. And the model was officially introduced at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Rio. This model will be expect to launched in India in early January 2019. Just few days back, Nissan was announced its future strategy for the Indian market. 

This model is developed based on Nissan's all new V-platform. And, The Kicks SUV is already on sale internationally some markets. The Indian spec model is expected to be released with the same engine available in Dustar. Nissan hasn't showcased the interior of the Kicks. But, international model's  interior is perfectly designed with sandal with black colour combination. This model gets the LED Projector Headlamps with DRLs, R17 5-Spoke Machined Alloy, Signature V-motion Grille, Boomerang Tail Lamps and etc,. 

This model has a great look to all interior and exterior. Definitely this model have the huge market in future.
