Maruti suzuki's premium hatchback Baleno crosses 1 lakhs booking. This model was released in October 2015 and within 5 months after the release of this model has achieved this feat. This model is available in  1.2-liter K- Series petrol engine and 1.3-liter DDiS 190  diesel enjine which is the same engine for Swift and Swift dzire models.

The petrol engine have capacity of 1197cc and diesel engine have capacity of 1248cc.The petrol engine delivers the power of 83 bhp (6000 rpm) and torque of 115 Nm (4000 rpm). As certified by ARAI both manual and automatic transmission of a petrol model will give mileage of 21.4 Kmpl.

The Diesel engine delivers the power of 75 bhp (4000 rpm) and torque of 190 Nm (2000 rpm). As certified by ARAI, the diesel model will give mileage of 27.39 Kmpl. And this model is available in 7 different colors like red, Urban Blue, Ray Blue, White, Silver, Grey and Orange.
