Mahindra launched the XUV500 with automatic gear box in new W6 variant at Mumbai showroom price of Rs.14.29 lakh. Previousley automatic gerr box is available only in W8 and W10 variants. But, now available in four variants such as W6 FWD, W8 FWD, W10 FWD and W10 AWD.

In this model, the 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine is fitted. This mHawk engine have capacity of 2179cc. This engine delivers the power of 140 bhp (3750 rpm) and torque of 330Nm (1600-2800 rpm). And six speed automatic gear box is fitted in this model. As per ARAI certificattion, this model will give 15.1 Kmpl mileage.

This model have capable of crossing 60 Kmph speed within 5.4 seconds and 100 Kmph speed within 12.5 seconds . And this car reach top speed of 175 Kmph.
