Mahindra has launched the facelifted version of the Scorpio in India with starting Chennai ex-showroom price of Rs 9.94 Lakh. The Scorpio facelift gets the XUV500’s 2.2-litre diesel with 140PS of power and a new 6-speed manual with some cosmetic changes.

What's New in facelifted Scorpio

• New Engine with 103KW (140BHP) of power and 320 NM torque (But, this engine is available only in S7 and S11 variants)
• New Six speed transmission
• New imposing front grill
• New plush faux leather interiors
• New muscular alloy wheels
• New reverse parking camera with dynamic assist
• New impressive tailgate
• New sleek red lens & red tail lamps
• New ORVMs with turn indicators
• New braking system

This model available in 2.5-liter m2DICR diesel engine and 2.2 liter mHawk diesel engine with two power tunes. The 2.5 liter diesel engine delivers the power of 75 bhp (3200 rpm) and torque of 200Nm (1400-2200rpm). And the 2.2 liter mHawk diesel engine delivers the power of 120 bhp (4000 rpm) and torque of 280Nm (1800-2800rpm) in one tune and other tune it delivers the  power of 140 bhp (3750 rpm)  and torque of 320Nm (1500-2800rpm). The 140PS 2.2-litre mHawk is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission same as the XUV500. But, other engine models are mated to same old 5-speed manual transmission.
