Jaguar Unveils I-Pace Electric SUV Production Spec Model

The British automaker Jaguar has revealed the production-spec version of I-Pace Electric SUV ahead of its global debut, which is take place at the 2018 Geneva MotorShow. This concept was first revealed in the year of 2016. Its design inspiration taken from the F-Pace. But this mode give better look than F-Pace.

It features one permanent magnet electric motor each, on the front and rear axles, which develop 200PS and 350Nm individually. The combined power output stands at 400PS and a monstrous 700Nm of torque, sent to all four wheels. This model crosses 0-100kmph in around 4 seconds. I-Pace can manage a claimed travel-range of around 500km on a full charge. The 90kWh lithium-ion battery is fitted in this model and its positioned flat and low down.

This battery pack can be charged up to 80 per cent in 1.5 hours and 100 per cent in just over two hours using 50kW DC charging. It has lot of features such as 12-inch high-res driver display which replaces the conventional dials, a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a central touchscreen infotainment system, multi-zone climate control, 23-inch Nighthawk wheels, LED lights and etc,. It will expect to launched around early 2018. The I-Pace measured 4682mm of long, 2139mm of wide and 1558mm to 1565mm of tall (depending on variant) and 2990mm of Wheelbase. The bookings are already underway for this model. And deliveries are scheduled to start from July 2018. And there is no official details were revealed about India launch.
