The American carmaker Ford has going to launch the facelifted version of Ecosport on September 15. This compact SUV was already exported from Ford's Chennai plant to Brazilian market. 

Ford has updated some cosmetic elements. And big chunkier chrome grille is given in front. There is not big change in rear and side profiles. Importantly, ford remove the spare wheel from rear. Ford has completely overhauled the cabin, which perhaps will be the highlight of the facelifted EcoSport. It now features a brand-new steering wheel, twin-dial instrument cluster,  center console, new touch screen system and etc,. But Indian model may not get any change except front end. It may get remain same rear mounted spare wheel and interion also. We get exact details, only after it will launched. 

Mechanically there is no change. This model will available in same 1.5 liter petrol, 1.0 liter ecoboost petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engines. This 2018 Ecosport may give some support to compete with the market in compact SUV segment.
