Toyota has launched the limited edition version of Platinum Etios in India. The Platinum Etios Limited Edition is based on the VX and VXD variant. And the petrol variant of the Etios Platinum Limited Edition is priced Rs 7.84 lakh and diesel version is priced Rs 8.94 lakh (both, ex-showroom Delhi). This model have only cosmetic upgrades and mechanically it continues to be powered by existing engine options. 

This limited edition model not have major updates in exterior, the interior gets the new dual-tone upholstery with tune with the exterior colour, brown finish armrest and new 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. And the Toyota Platinum Etios is limited to phantom brown and pearl white with crystal shine colour options. 

Mechanically this model remains the same 1.5-liter petrol and 1.4 liter diesel engine options. The  petrol engine delivers the power of 90 bhp (5600 rpm) and torque of 132Nm (3000rpm). and the diesel engine delivers the power of 68 bhp (3800 rpm) and torque of 170Nm (1800-2400rpm). The limited edition models cost an additional Rs 2,000 over the regular variant.
